Wrangler Butts Drive Me Nuts

This past weekend I took Brad and went with 4 other friends to the PBR (Professional Bull Riding for all those non western folks). Ever since I was young I have loved going to rodeos and watching bull riding. I don't know what it is about a man in wranglers and a cowboy hat.. but its very nice! Hopefully in August when I go to Utah for the Box Elder County Fair Brad will get some Wranglers.. (hint, hint) Anyways.. it was a grand ol time. Brad and I even dressed up.. no we did not plan to dress identical. I was wearing my outfit first!

I admit, I cannot parallel park!

So last night I became the laughing stalk of the car when Brad brought up how horrible I am at Parallel Parking. My old roommate Jenn Draeger also agreed, and I can proudly say I suck at Parallel parking.

Let me explain the reason why...

I grew up on a farm, I grew up where streets didn't have yellow lines, it was pretty much a one way street. Tractors even used the street and would stop in the middle of the road to talk to their neighbor. The only place that had actual "parking spots" was the church and school. Parallel parking was never needed.

I have every right to suck at Parallel Parking. I rest my case.

It's Raining.. Its pouring..

In California it has been raining non-stop, everyday.

Valentines Day Weekend!

I had such a wonderful weekend this past week.. and I thought I would update on what has been going on lately. 

*I still have a job (150 people were layed off at Quiksilver)

*I need to go on my chocolate detox again

*It's been raining non-stop.. I want sunny warm California air! 

On Valentines Day Brad took me to eat at the best breakfast spot ever!! Its down in Crystal Cove called Pacific Way. It over looks the beach and has the YUMMIEST food ever! We loved the view and just relaxing with each other, so we spent probably 2 hours there. Afterward we went for a walk on the beach in Corona Del Mar. We took pictures with my new Blackberry that Brad gave me!! (Yes, I finally got an upgrade after 4 years with the first edition of Blackberry's)

Afterward we went to Stake Conference which was so good. President Hinckley's son spoke to us. It was the neatest experience. He sound and looked just like President Hinckley, it made me realize how much I miss him. He was such a great Prophet. I loved all the stories and memories he talked about, and the spirit was so strong.
